Bethel Kids

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1

Our mission is to create a hunger for more of God and to inspire children with dynamic, Holy Spirit motivated lessons using modern tools to captivate their attention and leave them wanting more of God.

Our vision is to form spiritual maturity in kids who are full of the Word of God and fascinated by Bible stories, scripture memory, and prayer.  Our deep desire is to see the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifested in every kid’s life, and to put an urgency in their hearts to lead others to know Jesus. Kids are also encouraged to use their talents to serve others. Activities lead by older kids include: sound and video, praise and worship, ushers, and teacher’s aide.  Bethel Kids are free to express worship through singing and dancing during praise and worship time and we emphasize the importance of coming to the altar and surrendering to Jesus.

  • Sunday 9:30 AM Christian Education, ages 3 – 12.
  • Sunday 10:30 AM Bethel Kids Celebration, prayer, praise and worship, games, lessons, interactive videos, altar time, etc.  The first Sunday of the month is BGMC. Everyone is welcome to bring their Buddy Barrel with coins to send to missionaries so they can have Bible material to share the gospel.
  • Wednesday 7:00 PM S.W.A.G. Kids, food, worship, Bible story, small discussions, and some time to play together.
  • Kids Camp is our biggest summer event. We believe taking kids to a distraction-free environment creates a special atmosphere and a sensitive heart to listen to God’s voice.
  • Special Events such as movie nights, bowling nights, girl’s sleepover, boy’s lock-in, craft nights, etc., are offered throughout the year.

Safety is a high priority for Bethel Kids.  Parents and adults who love children are welcome to be part of the ministry after being cleared using a background check.

Questions you may have:

What is BGMC?
BGMC stands for “Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge”.  It is the AG kids missions program.   Boys and girls are challenged to help our missionaries, challenged to sacrificially give to missions, challenged to reach the lost, and challenged to keep their hearts open to the call to the work of full-time missions. The money raised through BGMC is used to provide our missionaries with the supplies they need to reach people around the world. BGMC equips kids to know, to care, to pray, to give, and to reach the lost.

BGMC Motto: Challenging Kids to Reach the World

 What is S.W.A.G?

S.W.A.G stands for “Saved With Amazing Grace”.  It is a power packed night of fun for our Bethel kids and those from the community who may not have a church home.  The evening starts with food, high energy worship, a Bible story, object lessons, small group discussions, and game time.  Our goal is to reach into every kid’s world and learn about Jesus. If your child would like to attend S.W.A.G but doesn’t have a ride, please call the church office at 573.335.5531.
